Horse chestnut (Aesculus Hippocastanum)

Horse chestnut is native to the Balkan Peninsula. Aescin, the main active component in horse chestnut, provides many health benefits. It helps protect blood vessels, improve venous tone, and support the reduction of symptoms of varicose veins. It also has strong antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties, helping reduce inflammation caused by injury, swelling, and venous insufficiency. Thanks to these properties, horse chestnut is also believed to help reduce hemorrhoids and have anticancer effects.
