Simply wanting to “make a lot of money” or “get promoted to position X” is not enough. Set a goal that is truly meaningful and complete. Think about how to make the world a better place and how to create useful things. Think about how to make these ideas a reality as soon as possible.
Listen to criticism Stop thinking that you are a perfect person. Ask the people around you to criticize you objectively and as often as possible. This helps you test the value of your ideas and adjust your direction of development in time. Treat well those who advise you to rethink certain elements of your plan.
Focus Do not try to manage everything at once. It is better to focus on completing one thing fully. Give yourself completely to that work. Work harder and more productively than others so that you can accomplish more in less time.
Do not be afraid of failure Failure is part of the development process. Accept it. If you decide to create something special, be prepared for failures. Make sure that you are willing to face them. And remember that failure is an inseparable part of development.
