🇻🇳 77 years ago, on 19/8/1945, Vietnam achieved a historic victory that laid the foundation for the establishment of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam. The success of the August Revolution was a memorable historical milestone for the Vietnamese people; it helped the country escape oppression and exploitation under the semi-feudal colonial regime and brought independence, freedom and democracy to the Vietnamese nation.
🇻🇳 The success of the August Revolution was the result of persistent struggle, united strength and the strong patriotism of the Vietnamese people for the peace and unity of the homeland. As President Hồ Chí Minh said: “Unity, unity, great unity – Success, success, great success.” Thanks to the unity of every Vietnamese person, Vietnam achieved Independence – Freedom – Happiness.
